The IT Alliance is a not-for-profit focused in the Information Technology sector on Prince Edward Island. Founded in 2022, it now represents more than 1,400 pure-play IT individuals and companies. The IT Alliance is gearing up for an exciting phase of growth which will include a recast of the strategic plan, introduction of programming to support high-growth IT companies in PEI (including the introduction of a new home for tech and tech-enabled start-ups), and roll-out of additional tactics to strengthen the IT sector overall.

Job brief

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic individual to join our team as a Community & Operations Coordinator. This role will be essential in supporting the smooth operation of our co-working space while fostering a vibrant, engaged community. The ideal candidate will handle administrative duties, member support, and event planning, ensuring that the space runs efficiently and effectively.

Note: given the growth objectives of the IT Alliance and introduction of Velocity, there is a "scaling up" element to this role, allowing the desired individual to flex across a multitude of areas, playing a critical part in evolving the JD and overall team construction over time.

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: Charlottetown, PEI (in-person only)

Salary range: $50,000 - 65,000 per annum
